Welcome to the Muiwatmnej Etuaptmumk Conference, where vision meets action!
Join us for an exciting three-day experience that transcends boundaries, embraces culture, and champions collaboration.
As Canada and the Indigenous population of this country strive to work together in the spirit of reconciliation and with the passing of UNDRIP on June 21, 2021, the Collaborative Environmental Planning Initiative (CEPI) will be hosting a celebration of Etuaptmumk (Two-Eyed Seeing) in November of 2023. This conference will invite participants from organizations looking to include Etuaptmumk in their daily practices and processes and provide guests with the means and understanding of applying Etuaptmumk to their daily work duties.
In the spirit of reconciliation and guided by the principles of Two-Eyed Seeing, this conference is a unique opportunity to explore how Indigenous wisdom and modern knowledge intertwine to shape a sustainable future. Be part of this transformative journey as we move beyond vision to ignite real-world change.
- Understand the concept of Two-Eyed Seeing and its relevance to today’s world.
- Delve into how Two-Eyed Seeing is being used in numerous fields and how it can bridge the gap between Indigenous knowledge and modern science.
